Backroom 11 recreates the powerful, classic sounds of the 60’s and
70’s featuring such artists as Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Otis
Redding, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and Joe Cocker..
The band, originating with the collaboration of keyboardist/arranger
Dave Thierry and guitarist/vocalist Mike Blackborow, has expanded to
include 2 female vocalists, 4 horns, and a 4 piece rhythm section.
The Backroom 11 sound is vintage R&B and soul infused with rock,
blues, and jazz influences.
Backroom 11 is available for private and corporate events, weddings,
clubs, and festivals.
